BRACKET FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Following these instructions will allow you to have a shower, knowing there will be a no wet floor hazard when you exit the bath and will reduce long term damage to floors and wooden fixtures.
Ideal for hotels and other commercial premises, stopping water ingress from floor to floor causing lost bookings due to repair of damaged rooms.
1. Clean area where the bracket is to be placed (remove any soap or shampoo residue).
2. Try positioning the bracket before removing the tape, lining up with the inside of the lip of the bath.
3. Remove the tape from the lower portion of the bracket, only 230mm approximately.
4. Holding the bracket tightly to the wall, lower carefully and align it to the inside lip of the bath, stopping 5/10mm from the surface. Press firmly with index finger at the corner, where the bath and wall meet, position lower bracket and press firmly onto the top of the bath.
Very important: Once the bracket is in place firmly on the bath, it is not possible to move it.
5. Remove the rest of the tape carefully, not allowing the bracket to touch the wall. When you are sure it is in the vertical position, press it firmly to the wall/ tiles.
6. Holding the shower curtain, overlap the bracket groove by 2-3cm and starting from the top, insert the rubber insert into the groove (pull on rubber insert to reduce diameter, making insertion easier) Repeat this process down to the bottom. (wetting the rubber insert also makes insertion easier).
7. It is advisable to trim the excess shower curtain on top of the bath up to the lower end of the bracket to maintain a clean area.
8. To remove the shower curtain for washing, simply remove the rubber insert and repeat the above process for installing it. |
